Slither.io is a massively multiplayer browser game designed by Steve Howse. Players control an avatar similar to a worm, which consumes multicolored pellets, both from other players and ones that naturally spawn on the map in the game, to grow in dimensions. The objective of the game is to grow the longest worm within the server. Slither.io is similar in concept to the popular 2015 web game Agar.io and it is reminiscent of the classic arcade game Snake.

he objective of the game is to control a worm around a wide area and eat pellets, defeating and consuming other players to get mass to grow the largest and longest inside the game. After the player starts the game and is spawned to the virtual world, their avatar cannot stop continuing to move forward. When the player’s worm’s head collides into part of another worm, the player will die. The defeated avatar’s body turns into bright, shining pellets for other players to consume. The maximum amount of pellets as it takes for your equivalent quantity of mass as the worm had exactly before its death is going to be transmuted. These pellets that remain from “death” of the avatar will correspond to the colour in the avatar itself, and therefore are both brighter and larger than “normal” pellets, which spawn naturally all over the world. Normal pellets usually do not give as much mass as pellets dropped using their company worms. “Chase” pellets can look individually in different places around the world, and when eaten, provide a greater level of mass than pellets dropped by other worms. By pressing and holding the room bar or left/right mouse button (on mobile, double-tapping the touchscreen), the ball player may use their boost, that causes the avatar to speed up. If the button (or, on mobile, the finger on the touchscreen) is released, the worm will stop using its boost. Each time a player uses their boost, the worm loses some mass, creating the worm’s size to shrink slightly, with all the mass which is lost from the boost appearing as being a collection of small pellets in which the boost was used. The mass lost could be regained by consuming the pellets. Much like pellets dropped from defeated avatars, the boost pellets correspond to Click here and enjoy. The riflhm feature is effective to outmaneuver and defeat opponents. A common strategy that is used by players to defeat opponents is from the player’s avatar coiling around the opponent’s in a loop, till the opponent, held in the loop, crashes to the player.
You will find a border that confines avatars in the circular game board. When a worm hits the border, the ball player automatically dies without turning to the aforementioned pellets. As of this moment it is actually removed, in 2016, the player with the biggest worm after the morning was able to share a “victory message” with all the world.
